Mica Lemiski is an up and coming singer-songwriter from Vernon, B.C. She has been singing for almost her whole life as well as been playing piano since she was 8 years old. She has been a top ten finalist in the Okanagan’s ‘Our kids Have Talent’ contest for the past two years (winning 3rd place in 2010), and also won 3rd place 2009’s IPE Youth Talent Competition. Mica has also been involved in a number of musicals with Vernon’s ‘Lights of Broadway’ program. These musicals include 2010’s production or ‘The Sound of Music,’ 2009’s ‘Joseph and the Amazing Colored Dreamcoat,’ and 2008’s ‘Peter Pan’. She has been writing songs since elementary school and has just completed her first album: “The Bright Side,” which was released on August 6th, 2010 in her hometown. Mica has also been successful in various music festivals in the Okanagan, where she has been presented with a number of awards for classical voice and piano.
