Plan for 2009
I start every year off with a plan. Well, that's not quite true. Last year, 2008, I was a rogue...no game plan or direction. I've decided to try and have more focus and commitment to my music career in 09. I have been working on a new demo - 7 songs were recorded in the fall of 07, and I've written a number of songs in 08 that are waiting to be added to the collection. Hopefully I'll have a full length release sometime this spring. I'll keep you posted. -
Songwriting
I just thought I'd post a quick hello to get this blog rolling. I'm a songwriter. I absolutely love the creative process: submitting ideas to paper and manipulating the words until they inhale. Coupled with the right chord progression and rhythm, the lyric becomes the ultimate expression of experience and emotion; a snapshot of the human condition – my condition.
