Bio
The Agora Stringband plays a down-home mix of acoustic folk and country music. We got our start playing events for the UBC Farm and Aggie community (Land and Food Systems) at the University of British Columbia. In our five years as a band, we've played a great variety of community events, from farmers' markets to beer gardens, formal dinners to lantern festivals, and weddings to farm days, and continue to provide great acoustic music for public events and private parties.
