So Winnipeg is putting together its own little Nuit Blanche. These all-night cross-urban art events are held in Paris, St. Petersburg, Montreal, Berlin, and over a hundred other cities. This year will see NYC's first Nuit Blanche as well: clearly they wanted to ride on Winnipeg's coattails; their festival, however, will be called Bring To Light, since Nuit Blanche sounds decidedly un-American.

Winnipeg's modest manifestation of art will take place on 25 Sept, 2010. My brother Patrick and I will be performing in the Winnipeg's Contemporary Dancers' event (which is also their season kick-off). I believe there will be three 'sets' of the cabaret, at 8, 9:30, and 11:00. Here is some info on that:
