  • Happy 75th Birthday 8/5/34 - 4/28/09

Happy Birthday to our friend and pal, Vern Gosdin.

Today, August 5, 2009 marks the 75th birthday for "The Voice of Country Music". How blessed are we by the legacy of great songs he has left behind for us to enjoy?  Forever he will be cherished, missed and thought of with the greatest respect.  His simple truths were laughing as much as possible, loving his family of fans, and remembering to always give your best.  He now sings with the angels and we all know that he  is teaching them a new trick or too.  His memory should be celebrated often, and especially on the day of his birth.

In this moment that you are reading this, please wish him a happy birthday.

    All the best,
    Team Vern

  • What is a Vernism?

In Special honor of our hero... Vern Gosdin "The Voice"

We've had a few people ask us about his Vernism's so here is a quick little explanation of how they came about and how we will be sharing them with you.

A Vernism is a Joke, Thought, funny saying, or Classic Vern moment.

Thank you for the great comments and messages.  It is so important that we remember our friend for all of his great accomplishments, his VOICE, his SONGS, his love of laughter, the FUN sayings, WORDS, STATEMENTS and especially his JOKES he would come up with every day.  Vernisms were invented by his team as a word to describe all of his Classic sayings.

He arrived at Heaven's Gate on Wings of Faith, and I know he is in heaven right now so excited to be sharing his Vernisms with anyone he can.

To see you laugh was his greatest joy.  In tribute to his memory we will share Vernism's with you as often as possible.  We do hope you enjoy them .  Thank you for helping us keep the Classic Vern moments alive.  Please keep sharing your memories here. Vern would love it.
