Make no mistake, this war has been waging on since the dawn of time. It is nothing new to our world, yet people still refuse to see it. Some call it "The Truth Movement" others dust it off as ridicilous conspiracy. Whatever the case, the knowledge is there for those who seek it. .. .. War Paint emerges from the slumps of the gritty glamoured Las Vegas valley with a brand of underground rap that truly reflects on their rebel roots and the DGAF lifestyle of Sin City residents. Influenced heavily by marijuana, politics, underground music, and the raw sounds of truth and freedom, these warriors seek to shine light on the ever growing darkness that infects our culture. A Movement in its own, War Paint is well on their way to becoming a voice and force to be heard in the underground. .. .. War Paint is represented by Matt West, Kay-O, Polo and Klopse, although it is the people who truly keep the dream alive, an army infected by the power of free thought and unity. The group originated in 2008 and started becoming a full force project by 2009. They released a few rough demos, and began doing live shows to sample their material. They achieved growing success in the local hip hop crowds, and as long time juggalos themselves, it was no surprise that they were accepted into the juggalo community with open arms as well. .. .. War Paint has rocked shows with great acts and local favorites such as: ABK, Tech N9ne, Doomsday Productions, Twisted Insane, Insane Poetry, Scum, Tragedy, 6 Feet Deep, Head Hurtz Monstars, Uncle Phoenix, 9th Sphere, Donnie Menace, N.E. Last Wordz, CutThroat Cadavers, Cancerous One, Train of Thought, Hydro, Sober Soul, Like Jackson, Winner Circle, and more.... .. .. In 2009 the track "Psycho - Ft. Klumzy, Biggz" was featured on Underground Hustlin' Vol 19, which also hosted names like Chamillionaire, Bizzy Bone, C-Mob, Mars and many more. These mixtapes have been around and reach thousands of people across the country. To help there growing popularity, not to soon after, they released 2 free cd's. The politically charged "Wake Up" Single, and the weed themed, Homegrown EP. Both of which people got free at shows or from the internet via free downloads. .. .. Currently, War Paint continues to cement themselves into the scene by doing live shows and putting the work on their 1st full length album to be released in 2010. .. ..
