There’s been a lot of talk about bullying lately, especially in the wake of the Bully documentary from The Weinstein Company. Even Justin Bieber says that he used to be bullied. But what happens when the bullying isn’t between kids, but kids bullying adults? Specifically, older adults? Karen Klein, a 69-year-old bus monitor in Greece, New York, was recently bullied by a group of middle school students. They never relented, even when they made her cry. And the whole thing was caught on video and posted to the Internet. The video has since gone viral, thanks to 4chan and Reddit.
While it’s probably more common than we’d like to admit, young people making fun of the elderly definitely happens. But it usually takes place behind their backs, not face-to-face. In this video, you’ll see a group of students, most of whom are off-camera, harassing the bus monitor. They call her fat in a number of ways, make fun of her, use plenty of profanity, tell her to shut up, and even threaten to stab her. Check out the video and then our discussion questions following. . Oh my im crying these people should be expelled from schools and not accepted into any schools in the country this is horrable oh my god no school education for them they should be shunned from everywhere oh my godhow rude there would be no tollerence for them

I couldn't watch this whole video. It's horrid, but that's how todays generation of kids act alot of the time. It's terrible how young people can be so cruel to just about anyone these days. I admit that I did my share of making fun of older people when I was that age but NEVER to their face and never to intentionaly hurt someone. This woman may be kind of a bitch to these kids at times ( We don't know the whole story) but no one deserves to be treated that way. That bus ride must have lasted an eternity for that poor woman. I weep for the future.
oh my god what the hell i have only watched like 2 minutes of this and these kids need a good ass beating wow this is wrong on so many levels somebody needs to take their parents and the kids out in the street and beat the hell out of all of them
IF I WAS ON THAT BUS SOME MUTHA FUCKING KIDS WOULD BE LEFT WITH BLACK AND BLUE EYES AND IF WAS THEIR MAMA OH GOD WOULD HAVE TO SAVE THEM FROM THE WRATH I WOULD UNLEASH ON THEIR FUCKING YOUNG ROUND ASSES
This is so wrong in may ways it is not funny. If i ever did something like this my butt would be outback behind the woodshed getting it tanned with a willow switch. What are these parents doing. What happened to manners and respecting your adults... This is not common at least it wasn't back 20 years ago. Now a days It just amazes me what kids do. I know my boys are way more respectable then these kids in the video. There 15 and 18. They also know that if they did do something like this they would get their butts in a whole lot of trouble and its not the law they have to worry about its the WRATH OF MOM!!!
